If you're getting a DJ, this is the one you want. A career DJ, John has played in over 100 venues (many repeated) between Ontario and Atlantic Canada. Born in Bathurst and based in Saint John, he's spent years working with Stingray Music helping program music for radio stations nationwide. John is the award-winning host of Weekend Country Heat, airing on twenty country radio stations every weekend.
He's worked the decks in some of Toronto's most popular downtown nightclubs. He played pre-games at BMO field for the CFL's Toronto Argonauts the year they most recently won the Grey Cup. He spent many evenings spinning tunes on upscale yachts chartered to cruise the Toronto harbour. One of the busiest DJs in New Brunswick, he's played at all kinds of shows and venues between the East Coast and Toronto on land, over the air, and on the water.
His bachelor's degree in media production is applied to the technical excellence of his product as a private-event DJ. He's a member of the Canadian Professional DJ Association.

WEDDINGS
Each wedding is approached with thoughtful preparation, clean presentation, and smooth execution from ceremony audio to a full dance floor.

The Music: John curates an expertly blended mix of danceable, lyrically driven popular music from the 60s to today. Refined skills ensure songs are cleverly mixed and transitioned, as opposed to "press-play" DJing. A pre‑submitted list is accepted for guidance. John relies on room vibes and guest requests with a goal of entertaining the room as a whole. Programming is guided by the room, the timeline, and the energy on the floor.

The Setup: This look is unique from other DJs in the area. Clean presentation is a top priority. The custom-built DJ booth has been thoughtfully designed as a party centrepiece and visual focal point. John uses tasteful, modern, photographer‑friendly uplighting to complement the room... ambient during formalities, energetic during the party. Lighting is intentionally programmed to move in time with the music. While portability is common across the industry, instead John relies on high‑performance professional sound systems to deliver rich, full sound that maintains clarity and character at dancing volume.

The Planning: Complimentary phone or email consultation is available before and after booking. Event details are managed through John's easy‑to‑use planning app, allowing music selections, notes, and timelines to be updated as plans evolve. This keeps you on the same page as your DJ.
