DJ & MC
John (formerly DJ Transmission) is an open-format live event and radio DJ serving festivals, nightclubs, bars, weddings and parties. He's played over 65 venues between Ontario and Atlantic Canada. On weekdays, he's host of The Early Show on Fredericton's New Country 92-3. Additionally, John hosts Weekend Country Heat nationwide on most Stingray country radio stations every Saturday night. You can also catch his EDM mix-show "The Mixup" Friday and Saturday nights on Phantom 103.3 in Bathurst.
Over the air, he's had the privilege of hosting noble Canadians such as Alan Doyle, Jess Moskaluke, Brett Kissel, MacKenzie Porter, Tenille Townes and Georges Laraque.
He's worked the decks in some of Toronto's most popular downtown nightclubs. He played pre-games at BMO field for the CFL's Toronto Argonauts the year they most recently won the Grey Cup. He spent many evenings spinning tunes on upscale yachts chartered to cruise the Toronto harbour. One of the busiest DJs in New Brunswick, he's played at all kinds of shows and venues between the East Coast and Toronto on land, over the air, and on the water.
During the day, John continues a successful career in radio programming. From having worked on Canada's largest 70s-80-s90s radio station, to now being on the programming team at Fredericton's own classic-hits and country radio stations while DJing in popular nightclubs, you count on John to know what's popular in almost any genre.
